Q. Tell us about yourself.
A. First and foremost, thank you for having me. My name is Eze Ogaranya but am fondly called Kingrich Ogaranya. I am a Nigerian Actor from Abia State, I am a graduate with a diploma in Architecture, a career minded person, God fearing, energetic, enthusiastic, and a hard-working man.

Q. When did you start acting and why?
A. I started acting in 2012, due to the love and passion I have for the art. Then I was doing my industrial training at Nigerian Communications commission (NCC) in Abuja after which I took a long break to complete my studies. Before the break I auditioned and was featured in a movie titled "PAPEL'S BLUE FLAMES" where I acted alongside admirable Omoni Oboli, Thelma Okoduwa Ojiji, Sani Danja etc. I also played a lead role for a Homevida short film titled “TO SERVE WITH ALL OUR STRENGTH".

Q. Who are your mentors in the movie industry?
A. Sincerely speaking I have a lot of mentors. The likes of Ramsey Noah, Leonardo Dicaprio, Majid Michel, Al pacino, Jeremy Irons, Genevieve Nnaji, Caroline King etc hahaha like I said the list is long.

Q. What impact do you think you can make in the industry?
A. I see the industry as a whole body, and actors as the body parts; like hands, feet, eyes etc. So you see no matter how small a body part is, without it, the body is incomplete. ‎And in answer to your question, I know by God's grace my presence would contribute to the growth of the industry.

Q. What do you think are the major challenges in Nollywood industry?
A. Poor funding in most cases, piracy, lack of adequate training etc. Regardless, the industry is a growing one and is bound to face challenges.

Q. Where do you think you will be in 3 years from now?
A. ‎Three years from now, Hahahaha, that's a serious one. Truthfully speaking as humans we cannot be too certain of tomorrow. And just like many, I have goals and believe that by God's grace I will continue to learn and increase my experiences, that in three years I will be in a respectable position where the industry sees me as a valuable asset and at the same time I want to grow with the industry. But most importantly, I see myself happy with what I am doing.

Q. How can actors, directors and fans reach you?
A. I like this part! Hahahaha. You could contact me through the following means; EMAIL:, FACEBOOK: Kingrich Ogaranya, TWITTER: @Kingrichonline, INSTAGRAM: @Kingrichonline.

Q. Any last words to your fans and family out there?
A. Just before that, thank you so much for having me as I am greatly honoured.  I will then like to say a big thank you for the love, tolerance, and support I have received. You guys are the best and I pray for your success just as you pray for mine.

I sat down last night and thought to myself what the Biafran war was like. So I embarked on a research and
this is what I found.

The Nigerian Civil War, also known as the Biafran War, 6 July 1967 – 15 January 1970, was a war fought to counter the secession of Biafra from Nigeria.

If you want more information on this,

Those who were around then would agree with me that it wasn't a pleasant site. Alot of people died, alot was lost to war, innocent children were seperated from their parents, innocent children died of Kwashiorkor and other diseases.

Watch the video report issued by The Igbo Conscience in a conference last week.

Late Ex. Biafra -Lt. Col. Odumegwu Ojukwu, leader of secessionist Biafra himself condemned Biafra, let us learn from all this and stop the violence.

Nigeria stands as one.

I'm not going to say much. See for yourself.
Shout out to Lil Kesh on the creation of Shoki...

You remember the last time we had an interview with Soul Snatcha from Rooftopmcs, I told you I was working on getting a full interview from the whole crew. But guess what, that didn't happen because, while Soul Snatcha is out there in the United Kingdom repping Christ thoroughly, Sokleva is also here in Nigeria doing what he knows how to do best...  Repping God.

Laitan Hughes, who recently dropped a new single titled "In the up" featuring Protek Illasheva, granted us this very exclusive interview. I'm sure Swit Summer is the only media house with this kind of interview presently, unless he deceived me... lol....

Well, without wasting much of your time, read through and comment below, let me know what you think.

Q. Where have you been?

A. I've been in the studio, working on the music, kept tweaking and rewriting, music is a language and I plan to speak it very fluently.

Q. Are we expecting any possible collaboration/come back from "TheRoofTopMcs?

A. There's definitely more Rooftop MCs music coming. We actually have ideas for the album put down. Once my project and Snatcha's project are out, the long awaited Rooftop MCs album is on and popping.

Q. This jam "in the up" has been blazing the airwaves since you dropped it on the 16th of Nov 2015. Everyone has received it with open arms. Protek himself did a great job too. So what next do we expect from Sokleva?

A.  Next Single is titled G.G.M God's got me it features Nolly, produced by Danny Beatz and it will be released (That's exclusive info too nobody knows this yet) December 1st, after that December 16 the album Fistful Of Stones drops!

Q. Let's talk Protek. What do you think about him as a rapper and as an individual?

A. Protek has grown. His approach to the music is, always wanting that message he's communicating to be heard and understood, He's also witty. I like that he's not afraid to let his passion for Christ shine through. He's also one of the most, loyal, trustworthy and reliable people I have ever known.

Q. What's gospel music to you and what message do you kind of music carry for the world?

A. Gospel Music is music inspired by, about or communicating the teachings of Jesus Christ. My music is always either inspired by or about the gospel. I want people to know, their struggles are common to all but that there is an answer, solution and saviour in Jesus Christ and they should draw near with all confidence because He loves us.

Q. Everyone's been buzzing me about how they can reach you but how can they really reach you?

A. On Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Soundcloud, snapchat, tumblr you can find me under the User ID SoklevaHughes, you can mail me directly
or hit me up on 08093510877 I'm pretty easy to reach. Lol!

Q. Word to all your fans and friends.

A. To all the fans and friends thank you for your love and support. I pray we all rise increase and grow together. Also if you are feeling the music tell someone else to check it out, Follow me on Soundcloud and get to hear the music first.
