VANESSA KOKO [ ENGAGED OR NOT ]

Recently, SwitTv took a trip, all the way to Lekki in Lagos for one distinctive reason; to hook up with one of Nollywood's finest and talented actress

Vanessa Koko.
You may know her as Udeme, owing to the role she played as wife to veteran actor Ime Bishop in movie titled 'Okon Lagos".
It was a pretty short visit, but we sure were glad to have been there. Most especially because we got entertain. SIMPLE! Lots of food to go around, and lots of drinks too.

However, without wasting your time, here is the interview with Vanessa Koko.

HEY VANESSA, WITHOUT WASTING MUCH OF YOUR TIME, CAN YOU PLEASE THROW MORE LIGHT INTO SOME OF YOUR RECENT PROJECTS?

VANESSA
WELL, IM CURRENTLY WORKING ON A WEB/TV SERIES SOON TO HIT THE BIG SCREEN. I'M ALSO WORKING ON VARIOUS FEATURE FILMS AT THE MOMENT WITH SOME OF NOLLYWOOD'S FINEST DIRECTORS.

DO YOU MIND TELLING US INDEPTH? LIKE GIVING US THE NAME OF THE TV PROGRAMME OR FEATURE FILMS THAT YOU ARE PRESENTLY INVOLVED IN?

I WOULD RATHER NOT SAY, AND ALLOW YOU TO JUDGE FOR YOURSELF WHEN IT HITS THE CINEMAS AND ALL. YOU SEE I'VE BEEN MOVING FROM LOCATION TO LOCATION, STARRING IN VARIOUS MOVIES/PROJECTS, I HAVE EVEN LOST COUNT. THAT'S WHY I SAID AS SOON AS IT HITS THE BIG SCREEN, YOU WILL FIND OUT FOR YOURSELVES OR WHEN THE DVDS ARE RELEASED.

LOL... CAN WE JUST SKIP THAT QUESTION TO ANOTHER TIME? LIKE I KEEP TELLING EVERY MEDIA WHO HAS INTERVIEWED ME, I WOULD RATHER KEEP MY PERSONAL LIFE OUT OF THE WAY FOR NOW. I DON'T WANT TO BE CAUGHT UP IN VARIOUS PROPAGANDAS AND ALL. MY RING, MY BUSINESS... LOL.

SO WE HEARD YOU DOING A PROJECT WITH SWIT SUMMER PRODUCTIONS INTERNATIONAL. CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT IT?

YEAH NOW THAT YOU MENTIONED IT, I'M GOING TO BE ON SET WITH THE ENTIRE SWIT SUMMER CREW SOMETIMES NEXT WEEK TO COMMENCE AND COMPLETE A NEW FEATURE FILM TITLED .... LOL... YOU KNOW I WON'T SAY THE TITLE UNTIL IT COMES OUT.....

SO WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT PEOPLE, WHO USE OTHER PEOPLE'S AUDITION NOTIFICATIONS TO SCAM UP AND COMING ACTORS, ASKING THEM TO PAY MONEY BEFORE THEY ARE GIVEN ROLES.

VANESSA
I THINK ITS CRAZY. I THINK ITS LOW. I THINK ITS UN-NICE FOR SOMEONE TO TRY TO PLAY A FAST ONE ON UPCOMING ACTORS.

TRUE TALENT CANNOT BE HIDDEN, NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY TO LOCK IT AWAY, IT WILL EVENTUALLY SHOW UP... AND FOR THOSE PEOPLE STILL PRACTICING THAT ACT, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM IT AND DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU.
ALSO ON THE OTHER HAND, I ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO JOIN PRODUCTION HOUSES, GET REGISTERED WITH THEM, AND GO FOR TRAINING FREQUENTLY. SO THAT WHEN A NEW PROJECT COMES UP FROM YOUR PRODUCTION HOUSE, YOU ARE AUTOMATICALLY SHORTLISTED FOR IT IF YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH.

A Multi billion dollar media organization in Lekki, Lagos State, Nigeria is recruiting for various positions in their organization.

1. Administrative Secretary
Requirement: Must be a graduate in any discipline, proficient in english and at least 5ft 7. Computer knowledge in all of the Office applications is also important.

2. Media Manager
Requirement: Must be a graduate in any discipline. Must have at least 3 years experience in movie and music video directing and a good sense of creativity. Computer knowledge in cs5, cs6, cc, fruity loops, nuendo, cubase, reason, etc will also be an advantage.

3. Receptionist
Requirement: Must be a graduate in any discipline, proficient in english and atleast 5ft 7. Computer knowledge in all of the Office applications is also important.

4. Professional Camera Men/Photographers
Requirement: Must know how to handle professional cameras like Black Magic 2.5k, 4k, Red Epic, and all DSRL cameras. Must also know how to edit pictures for onward printing in photo labs. Between the ages of 22 - 30 years.

5. Professional video Editors
Requirement: Must be sound with Adobe Premiere cs5 and above, Final cut pro etc. Between the ages of 22 - 35 years.

6. Professional Music producers
Requirement: Must be very good with Fruity loops, Reason, Cubase, Nuendo etc. Between the ages of 20 - 30 years.

7. Web designers/graphic designers
Requirement: Must know how to use the the various series of Photoshop cs editions, and must know how to design professional websites with flash etc. Between the ages of 22 - 30 years.

8. Office cleaners
Requirements: Must be a S.S.C.E holder. (At least 3 years experience) Between the ages of 22 - 27 years.

9. Security Guards
Requirements: Must be a S.S.C.E holder. (At least 3 years experience) Between the ages of 27 - 35 years

10. TV Presenters
Must be a graduate in any discipline and proficient in english and at least 5ft 7. Between the ages of 22 - 27 years.

11. Drivers
Requirements: Must be a S.S.C.E holder (At least 5 years experience) with a vast knowledge of Lagos State. Between the ages of 27 - 35 years.

12. House keepers
Requirements: Must be a S.S.C.E holder (At least 3 years experience in hotel management) and between the ages of 24 - 30 years.

The position, are strictly for professionals in the various fields. Multi tasking will also be an advantage.
NOTE: All applicants must live within Ajah/Lekki/VI/VGC Axis.
